A sketch of Daily Bread

A brief outline of identified problems and opportunities, offering a glimpse into our team's heart and goals.

Two problems:

  1. Disconnected church bodies and non-collaborative local churches yield less outreach potential than a city has in it.
  2. Scattered sources of ministry information deter and delay an individual's desire to serve, while conversely making it difficult for organizations to find willing hands.

Six goals:

  1. Connect and support congregations by providing infrastructure that will aid in communication, address internal needs, and foster organic relationships.
  2. Provide a medium for local churches to formally and informally support each other in outreach and service opportunities.
  3. Create a geolocated, centralized database of ministry, service, and volunteer opportunities.
  4. Promote and encourage corporate and individual service by making opportunities available, apparent, and easy to register for.
  5. Facilitate the creation, growth, and expansion of ecclesiastical events by providing a platform and a network of interested parties.
  6. Help individuals discover their gifts, skills, and talents given to serve the Kingdom (1 Peter 4:10), and showcase the love of Christ that occurs through genuine fellowship.

These are the principles Daily Bread Network was founded on, and they will always remain our underlying ethos. We encourage you to read our detailed mission statement to better understand our heart, our story, and how we hope to make progress toward our goals.
